The phrase “one image is worth a thousand words" is very true when it comes to digital marketing. The best way to have your content noticed is by attaching the right image to your words and message.

This is because social media is a very visual way of communicating and often with our senses we see the visual image first. People are bombarded by content as they scroll through Instagram or Facebook feeds. Images help you stand out from the crowd and stop people from continuing their scroll.

Strong copywriting is still important to make that connection, but in order to get people to ‘read more’ you should be using an engaging image.

It doesn’t have to be a work of art, just something that supports your content and can help tell the story of your business. Plus, there are plenty of websites out there that can help provide you with quality images for a low price (Canva, Shutterstock, Social Curator to name a few).

Not all businesses have a physical product to display to their audiences, but there's always something you can show. Even if this is the people behind the scenes!
